- There is no age limit to signing up on Parallel Voltage although we recommend that you only do so over the age of 10. Furthermore, you should gain parent/adult supervision when using the website and not give away too much details.

- The website must be used in correspondance with the rules and the user must know the rules of this website with at least some portions of detail.

- Our sanction system must be respected very well. You will be warned and banned if you commit offences made against the rules.

- Everybody is equal on this website apart from the restrictions that they have. Staff have more site powers but may not treat others disrespectfully, as much as members must not treat staff disrespectively. You are breaking rules of the sanction system if you treat others unequally.

- Our staff are hand picked very carefully. They most-likely know what they are talking about on the site and should be relied on further than members. You should also respond positively to them if they warn you.

- This website allows sharing of personal information. If you are under the age of 12, it is obliged to not edit your information to a full extent. It is also very important that you act more cautiously and inform your parent/guardian of your use of this website and gain their permission before signing up. Also, it is strongly advised that nobody gives away their full adress on the website.

Site rules

1) All members must be respected equally, despite what gender, religion and nationality they are or any disabilities they might have.

2) Extreme sexist, racist or offensive humour is not taken lightly on the website. Many people may be offended by your "humour".

3) Extreme sexist, racist or offensive behaviour is prohibitied.

4) Excessive swearing on the forum or chatrooms is against the rules. Using it in your username and/or profile is also.

5) Advertising is a very high offense. It disobeys our "No adverts" policy and members found advertising will be instantly baned and the links will be deleted A.S.A.P! (linking to personal accounts on social networking sites or Youtube is accepted mildly as long as the account belongs to you).

6) Posting pornographic content or links to such is an instant ban. Any images found on the website from uploads will be deleted when found.

7) Attempts to hack or attack parallel Voltage result in instant ban. We'd also recommend not discussing such as you may be reported for this.

8) Strong sexual behaviour is against the rules. Serious action will be taken against anybody performing such acts in the chatroom, private messaging systems or forum.

9) Staff are to be obeyed at all times. If they command you to stop doing something, you must correspond or further punishments will be given.

10) False allegations made about site staff will be taken very strongly. If you are lying, you will be in a ton of trouble.

This isn't a official rule but due to the nature of our website, we would like to kindly ask that you act as well as you can on the website. It gives a much better experience when there is no arguements, flame wars or trolling on the website. It would also be appreciated if some efforts were made in punctuation and grammar on our chatrooms and forum. It gives a better impression on the site overall.

Copyright warning

- All the images, information, elements and design features of this website are primary. The website has never taken any images from other websites and we demand that you do the same with us. We will take action against anybody using any graphic featured on our website (and therefore made by the staff of this website).

- Every single line of our code has been written by us and no free sources have been used or code has been copied from other websites. Again, we demand that our code is left alone and any source theft of any of the pages of our website will be taken as a threat and action will be taken.

- The design and content of our pages is also Copyright protected. Which means you will be prosecuted if you perform theft of our websites content and your IP adress will be blocked from our servers.

Personal use

- Any visitor to this website must respect the creators of the website and not credit themself as the publisher of any work on the website, nor publish any copies using our images, information, content or design.

- The website must be respected and not tampered with in any way, serious or minor. This will be seen as a threat and possible actions will be taken.

- We do require your email adress for signup and this is stored in our databases. However your email adress will never be sent to third party website or any other website. It is only used for newsletters or forgotten passwords. Our databases are heavily secured so your password is safe with us.

- Parallel Voltage are not responsible for any harm that is caused by use of this website. We contain many warnings concerning game content below the games which should always be viewed by visitors before playing our games. You agree to join the website and use it at your own risk of any rare harms caused by the website.

Links and the No-ad policy

- There isn't any links present on our website, with the exception of a links page under the "Site information" column. We have created our own policy to increase the quality of this website to keep the site clear of any advertisements. This means that adverts won't be present at any time during arcade games, or on the website as a whole.

- If you break this policy and advertise your website or another website that doesn't belong to you anywhere on the site, you are breaking our policy and the staff are authorised to ban you immediatley if they notice you advertising or you are reported and found guilty. We have put a links column in place below "Site information" to cater for anybody that ones to display their work. You're more likely to get it noticed there than spamming on the forums.

- We allow free advertising under the "Site information" section so that anybody can get some more views of their creations. This is in place so that you don't advertise elsewhere. It is only at the users interest that they visit this page. It is quite out of place so that our No-ads policy is held strong and users only view the links at their own will. Our website does not endorse the requirements of viewing these links for anything!

- To keep our policy, we offer massive amounts of points to anybody that reports any advertising priavte messages. As long as you don't respond, please report the user as soon as you possibly can and we will reward you and keep the website clean. You will be praised for helping the website and may recieve pins, points and avatar features.

Rights
