Parallel Voltage is a free online games website and community, opened on the 10th of June 2011. The website was originally founded as a place to store and publish flash games but has since developed into a large web design project. The website was originally founded by an Englishmen (StarBurst) and an American (Digital Donut) as a collaboration of work. Throughout the age of the internet and online video games, there has been much conflict between Americans and Brits. We're going to try and show what a collaberation can be like between these two great countries. Mid-production, the website developed away from standard online game website templates graphically and functionally, with the introduction of many new inituitive features that haven't been done before. Parallel Voltage also has it's own personal mascot called Gamey, who is located around the site and to the left of this text.

The website was built using two starting policies to differ it from all other online game websites. The first of these is the no-adverts policy. The day that we begin to advertise anywhere on our website which isn't on the Link's page of the website, the website will be closed pernamently. This is a non-profit website and for educational and entertainment purposes only. Adverts on other game websites ruin the enjoyment before, after and even during the games and website browsing.

Our second policy is the "Parallel Policy" is our policy that makes sure our website contains only our games. Every other online games website shows off games that they haven't made and therefore are also displaying secondary source work. Our games are made by Parallel Voltage and none are taken from other game producers. This works two ways as well. Our games will not be found on other online game websites. IF they are on other websites, they have been illegally obtained and copied and when we find the website, legal action will be taken to have the game removed and sue if any objections are made. Simply put, we aren't putting our games on other website in order to promote our website. How has nobody ever thought that making the games exclusive to one website would advertise the website enough?
